Sno-Search lesson pricing can only be guaranteed with request and payment prior to arrival. We need to have the name of the person and whether or not it is a “ski” or “snowboard” lesson at least 3 days prior to arrival. We will not be able to provide lesson options upon arrival. Guests will have to go the “Snow School” desk directly to obtain lesson program information. The Killington Ski and Snowboard School has Adult lessons for all ability levels. Introduced in the 2008/09 season, we're offering Max 5 for all Adult Group Lessons. We guarantee a class size of no more than 5 students per instructor! Killington matches you to the right class by first asking you to classify yourself into one of 4 categories. Once on the mountain, our pros we will help you determine the best level within that category in order to maximize your learning experience. We offer up to 8 different levels. Learn to Ski (16+Years)Killington has taught more people to ski in the last 40 years than any resort in the world. Teaching snow sports is our specialty, and special is what you are when learning to ski at Killington. Our Learn to Ski Program is specifically designed for new participants to the sport who are learning for the first time. Learning is different at Killington as our learn to ski program offers Max 5, which means that we guarantee a maximum of 5 students per instructor for every class! We focus on your strengths, using them as building blocks, instead of focusing on what you can't do. Remember that you're never too old to discover a hobby you'll love for a lifetime. You'll learn on easy to use shaped skis from Rossignol. Killington utilizes the guaranteed learning method for teaching, which uses short shaped skis and the best teaching terrain in the country. Learn to Ride / Ski Programs are offered daily at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., an additional class time of 9:00 a.m. is offered on Saturdays. Guests taking part in a Sno-Search weekend package program including lift tickets can substitute the 2 day adult all area lift ticket included with their groups package for either LTR or LTS as follows –
NOTE: WE MUST HAVE NAMES, AGES, 1 DAY OR 2 DAY, AND LEARN TO SNOWBOARD OR LEARN TO SKI OF ANYONE INTERESTED IN TAKING PART IN THESE PROGRAMS 5 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.......BY MONDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING SAT-SUN LESSONS. Adult 2 hour group lessons – (Age 18 +)Group lessons - These lessons meet daily at 9:45AM and 12:45PM in front of the Snowshed Base Lodge at the green sign. There is a maximum of five students per one instructor and the lesson is for 2 hours.Beginner Level - GreenFor those who have skied or snowboarded at least once before, beginner adult group lessons are designed for those skiers/boarders who have been on snow before and are starting to feel comfortable on gentle terrain.Intermediate Level - BlueIntermediate lessons will have you experiment with strategies to manage speed and control on steeper slopes and in the moguls. You'll learn to ski or snowboard with style on groomed terrain and gain greater confidence in variable conditions. These lessons help intermediate skiers/snowboarders progress from easier green circle runs to more difficult blue square runs with consistency and confidence.Advanced Level - DiamondAdvanced lessons will help you master and bash the bumps, carve easy turns in fresh snow and refine your skills at a high level.
